Staffordshire Search & Rescue Team, working in partnership with Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue

Staffordshire Search & Rescue Team (SSART) is a highly skilled team of dedicated volunteers who give up a lot of their own valuable time to provide a service to the emergency services in the utmost professional manner.

The team is funded entirely through donations from the public and local businesses, so when we are not on a call out or training, we are kept busy raising essential funds throughout the year to keep the team operational.

The Staffordshire Search and Rescue team is on call 24/7 365 days a year and is operated by dedicated volunteers, but the standards are extremely high.
The service provided is professional, in all but pay, and this is evident by our recent accolade from HRH Queen Elizabeth Il in 2011 when she awarded the team 'The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service' this is the MBE for voluntary groups.
